Dr. Shannon Christen was born in Seattle and has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life. Although she loves to travel, she has yet to find any place she would rather call “home.” She earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from Western Washington University in beautiful Bellingham and her Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Christen loves to spend time with her family, particularly her parents, husband and two children. As a true child of the 80’s, she could beat most people in a game of Star Wars trivia and might be heard randomly singing Heart’s “Alone” with enthusiasm and a blatant disregard for pitch or key. Dr. Christen and Dr. Nichole Kingham have been friends for many years, and they are excited and happy to collaborate with each other again as Hearing Advancement Center and Eastside Audiology merge. Dr. Christen’s future retirement plans include sitting on a Mexican beach sipping cocktails and reading an assortment of literature covering topics such as: dystopian futures, comparative eschatology and anything by Jane Austen. Trinya was born and raised in Kirkland. She is an avid reader, writer, singer, and musician. She often goes to regional themed fairs and Broadway shows, an experience heightened by her past in musical theater.Shannon Christen
